Digital Standards

We live in a (teaching) world governed by standards.  Fortunately most of these standards have our students best interest and success in mind.  Standards for teaching digital citizenship are as important as those for teaching math or reading.  Our students are growing up in a world that will require them to have not only a solid understanding of the digital world but skills to cull through a wealth of often useless or inaccurate data.  Because of this I will use the ISTE Nets as my guidelines for teaching.  The "Nets" include standards for teaching practices as well as student knowledge.

Here is a comparison of the TPACK, CAEPS, and NETS.
