For this task, I was required to explore one of the five classrooms for our future school. I chose classroom one. In this room, I explored gaming and simulations. These included connections between gaming and traditional learning theories, how experiences build knowledge, and an immersive method called KCI.
I read several articles, listened to a podcast, and explored some websites that were all focused on simulations, gaming, and experiential learning. My summary and thoughts on this classroom are outlined in a concept map I created using an online tool called SpicyNodes.
